CAScination won the Ypsomed Innovation Prize
Matthias Peterhans of CAScination GmbH won the Ypsomed Innovation Prize of CHF 50'000 that was awarded to him in Berne.
CAScination GmbH was created in 2009 in Boll (BE) as a spin-off from the Center for Computer-Assisted Surgery CCAS at University Bern. CAScination develops and sells Navigation Systems for soft tissue surgery. CEO Matthias Peterhans is a PhD student in biomedical engineering at university of Berne.
CAScination was accepted to CTI Start-up Coaching in December 2009.
