Timaq medical imaging acquired by ICON
Timaq medical imaging AG, headquartered in Zuerich, and a leading European provider of advanced imaging services to pharmaceutical and biotech firms was acquired by ICON plc, a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. ICON plc. is headquartered in Dublin / Ireland, and is listed on the Irish and New York stock exchange.
Timaq medical imaging AG is originally a spin-off of the Nuclear Medicine Department at the University Hospital of Zurich and received the CTI Start-up Label in February 2004. The company has around 23 employees.
